Network with the biggest names in the energy industry at the International Energy Week Dinner, one of the largest social gatherings in the energy industry calendar. Every year, this sell-out event attracts guests from all over the world.

The International Energy Week Dinner consists of a three-course meal.

Guests can purchase individual tickets or a table of 10 to entertain clients.

2024 President's Award Recipient: Dr Nawal Al-Hosany

Her Excellency Dr Nawal Al-Hosany is the UAE’s Permanent Representative to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).

Receiving the highest honour from the Energy Institute, Dr Al-Hosany will accept the President’s Award and speak as guest of honour at the dinner. Her vast career spans government, business, and academia, in the UAE and internationally. She currently serves as a member of the COP28 Advisory Committee; the advisory panel for the Momentum for Change initiative of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC); the Board for the American University of Sharjah; and Investcorp Capital.

Ahead of speaking at the International Energy Week Dinner, Dr Nawal Al-Hosany states, 'I am humbled and honoured to receive the Energy Institute’s President’s Award. As the world moves ahead with plans to transition away from fossil fuels towards clean and renewable solutions, energy access is more important than ever.

Working together in the decade of action is a non-negotiable. It is only through collaboration and cooperation that we will design solutions without borders to achieve our net-zero ambitions while ensuring that the global energy transition is just, fair and leaves no one behind.'

International Energy Awards and the President's Award

Celebrating the best in energy, the Energy Institute’s prestigious and long-standing EI Awards will now be held as part of International Energy Week and has been renamed the International Energy Awards.

Following the Award ceremony, our President's Award will also be presented to an individual who has shown outstanding leadership and achievement in the energy industry.
