What are the dates for International Energy Week 2026?
10-12 February 2026. The International Energy Awards Dinner is on the evening of 12 February 2026.

What time does International Energy Week 2026 open?
Doors open for delegates at 08:00 every day, with the conference starting at 09:00. Exhibitors are able to access from 07:30.

How do I get to the venue?
Nearest Tube stations: St. James Park (4 minutes walk); Westminster (5 minutes walk). For more transport options please click here: https://qeiicentre.london/about/location/

Is there parking at International Energy Week 2026?
Van and car parking is available at the Q-Park Westminster, which is a 7-minute walk from the venue. Blue badge holders are permitted to park on the QEII Centre forecourt free of charge. Parking in this location is subject to availability so please call ahead on +44 20 7798 4000 to enquire.

I am a speaker - what time do I need to arrive?
Please ensure that you arrive at the AV desk at the back of the theatre 20 minutes before the start of your session. This gives us time to properly set up the microphones for you, ensure we have the correct slides, and introduce you to the moderator. You should allow a minimum of 15 minutes to get through security and registration.

I am an exhibitor - what time do I need to arrive?
Exhibitors have access between 14:00-18:00 on Monday 9th February for set-up. During show days, they can arrive from 07:30 each day.

I am a student, can I attend International Energy Week?
Yes - students are offered a 75% discount on the current delegate rate. To apply, email a clear photo of your student ID to [email protected] with your request.

Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, there is a cloakroom on the Ground Floor of the venue. It is free of charge to leave your coats and bags there but please note that it closes at 18:00 each day.

Is there a prayer room?
A designated Quiet Room will be available immediately next to the exhibition area on the third floor of the venue. This room is non-denominational and available to all for use. Please be respectful of other users.

Registration

When can I register?
Registration is due to open in October 2025. Until then, you can register your interest here: https://www.ieweek.co.uk/register-interest This will ensure you are notified as soon as the registration form goes live.

Can I register multiple people at once?
Yes. You will need to provide the name, job title, email address, dietary requirements and either membership number or photo ID for each person you are registering.

Can I register on the day?
We close the registration form on the Friday prior to the event. You can still register on the day but this will require you to wait whilst your registration is processed, verified and payment taken. Wait times can last up to 45 minutes.

Do I need ID to attend?
If you are an EI Member, you will need your membership number to register. If you are not a Member, you wll need a form of photo ID to register.

Photo ID is used during the verification process, which all registrations go through for security. This is to ensure that the event is not disrupted by protestors who have bought a delegate pass in order to gain access. Examples of valid photo ID include driving licence, passport, PASS card, student card, etc.

Prior to the event, you will be emailed a QR code which you will need to access the event whilst it is running.

How can I obtain a Visa Invitation letter?
Visa Invitation letters are only provided once you have registered and paid for your delegate ticket. Once that process is complete, you will automatically be sent a link to various useful documents, including a template Visa Invitation letter.

How do I get my badge?
Before the event, you will be sent an email with a QR code to confirm your registration. Bring this QR code to the venue — it will let you in and you can use it to print your badge.

I am a speaker - how do I register?
You’ll receive a dedicated registration link in your speaker confirmation pack. Haven’t received it? Contact [email protected]

I am a sponsor - how do I register?
All sponsor agreements include a number of complimentary tickets. Please contact your company's events or marketing coordinator to confirm if there are any still available. If you aren't certain who that is, email [email protected] and ask.

If all the complimentary tickets have been used, you can purchase additional tickets at 20% discount. Please email [email protected] for details.

I am a student - how do I register?
Email [email protected] and include a clear photo of your student ID to receive your 75% discount code.

I am an EI Member - how do I register?
Once it opens in October, please visit the Registration page and have your membership number ready. This will automatically apply your membership discount and expedite the verification process. If you can't remember your membership number, please contact [email protected] or call +44 207 467 7100.

Why do I need to provide my Membership number during registration?
Your membership number is used during the verification process, which all registrations go through for security. This is to ensure that the event is not disrupted by protestors who have bought a delegate pass in order to gain access. It is also used to automatically apply your membership discount during registration, if applicable.

I am not an EI Member - how do I register?
Once it opens in October, please visit the Registration page and have a digital copy of your photo ID ready. This will expedite the verification process. Examples of valid photo ID include driving licence, passport, PASS card, student card, etc.

Why do I need to provide photo ID during registration?
Photo ID is used during the verification process, which all registrations go through for security. This is to ensure that the event is not disrupted by protestors who have bought a delegate pass in order to gain access. I am Press / Media - how do I register?

I have registered but not yet been approved - what do I do?
All registrations must go through a verification process, for security. This can take up to three working days. If, after that time, you have still not received an approval email, please check your Spam folder before contacting [email protected].

My QR code isn't working - how do I get access?

  • Before the event: Email [email protected] to ask for your QR code.
  • At the event: Go to the Help Desk at registration with a copy of your business card.

How do I cancel my ticket and get a refund?
If you are unable to attend an event or conference you have registered for, a substitute delegate may attend in your place, provided the EI Events team is notified in writing in advance. Only one such transfer can be made per delegate. Please email [email protected] with the details.

In the event of cancellation of attendance by the ticket purchaser, a refund, less 20% administration charge of the total monies due + VAT or 30% for International Energy Week bookings, will be made provided that notice of cancellation is received in writing at least 25 working days before the date of the event, conference or face-to-face or live online training course. No refunds will be paid, or invoices cancelled after this date. 

The EI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the venue, format, content or timing of the conference programme, the virtual location or hosting medium of the conference or conference platform or the identity of any speakers or exhibitors. The EI reserves the right to run the event in online-only format if so dictated by external circumstances. In such case, the sponsorship and delegate fee shall remain payable in full, and the EI shall not be required to refund the Sponsor or delegate for any proportion of the fee or otherwise be held liable for any other costs or expenses incurred by the Sponsor or delegate in connection with the conference.

Where an event is cancelled in its entirety, we will endeavour to reschedule. If it cannot be rescheduled, or the delegate cannot make the new date, the delegate fee will be refunded. However, in the unlikely event of the cancellation occurring for reasons beyond our control, to ensure all costs up to the point of cancellation are met, delegates will receive a refund less 50% of the total monies due or paid.

Where can I find the 2026 agenda?
The International Energy Week 2026 conference agenda will be available from October 2025 via the Agenda tab of this website. The EI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the format, content or timing of the conference programme at any time prior to and during the event in accordance with speaker availability.

How can I attend the POWERful Women event?
The POWERful Women event is invitation-only. Guests will be provided with a registration code which adds the event onto their ticket.

How do I notify the caterers about dietary requirements?
Dietary requirements will be collected as a standard part of the delegate registration form. Any dietary requirements received less than two weeks prior to the start of the event may not be catered for.

Awards Dinner

Do I need a badge to get in?
You can use any of the following to gain access to the Awards Dinner:

  • QR code on your phone
  • Hard copy invitation, as provided by your host on the day

How do I invite guests to join my table?
For table bookings, you will be sent a form in early January asking for the names and dietary requirements of your dinner guests. If you don’t have all guest details by then, don’t worry—you’ll get instructions on how to invite guests during International Energy Week.

Please note: if guest details are not submitted by the January deadline, their dietary requirements cannot be accommodated, and their names will not appear on the official table seating plan.

I've been shortlisted for an Award - what do I do?
Congratulations! If you would like to be present in person on the night, you will need to book either some individual seats or a table at the Awards Dinner. Please click here for more details. There are no discounts available for shortlisted candidates.

What time do the 2026 Awards start?
They are scheduled to start at 19:30 on Thursday 12th February, with pre-dinner drinks starting at 18:30.

How do I access the Afterparty?
If your sponsorship includes standalone Afterparty tickets you will receive a separate form to submit guest details. This must be returned no later than one week before the event.

If guest details are not confirmed by the deadline, you will be provided with wristbands to distribute on the day. Pre-registered guests will receive a wristband upon arrival after name verification. If a guest arrives without a wristband and their name is not on the pre-registered list:

  1. The main sponsorship point of contact will be called to verify the guest.
  2. If they cannot be reached, we will attempt to contact a company representative at the event.
  3. If verification is not possible, the guest will not be admitted for security reasons.
