23–25 March 2027. The International Energy Awards Dinner is on the evening of 25 March 2027.
Shifting International Energy Week to March avoids clashes with other major global energy events and key religious holidays, including Eid, Holi, and Chinese New Year, while still taking place ahead of Easter.
As a global gathering, the revised March date ensures that delegates from around the world can participate more easily.
The event remains in Westminster, at the heart of London and just moments from the Houses of Parliament. The new venue maintains the central London location while offering excellent accessibility and transport links for delegates.
International Energy Week 2027 will continue to convene energy CEOs, policymakers, and senior industry leaders to debate the biggest issues shaping the global energy system. Further programme updates will be shared in due course.
Tickets are not yet on sale. Register your interest to be among the first to hear when Early Bird tickets become available.

Registration
Registration for IE Week is now live. You can register here.
Yes. You will need to provide the name, job title, email address, dietary requirements and either membership number or photo ID for each person you are registering.
We close the registration form on the Friday prior to the event. You can still register on the day but this will require you to wait whilst your registration is processed, verified and payment taken. Wait times can last up to 45 minutes.
If you are an EI Member, you will need your membership number to register. If you are not a Member, you will need a form of photo ID to register.
Photo ID is used during the verification process, which all registrations go through for security. This is to ensure that the event is not disrupted by protestors who have bought a delegate pass in order to gain access. Examples of valid photo ID include driving licence, passport, PASS card, student card, etc.
Prior to the event, you will be emailed a QR code which you will need to access the event whilst it is running.
Visa Invitation letters are only provided once you have registered for your delegate ticket, passed verification and paid to attend. Once that process is complete, you will automatically be sent a link to various useful documents, including a template Visa Invitation letter. If your visa application is rejected and you are therefore unable to attend the event, we will process your refund after 16th February, minus a 30% administration fee in line with our admissions policy.
Before the event, you will be sent an email with a QR code to confirm your registration. Bring this QR code to the venue — it will let you in and you can use it to print your badge.
You’ll receive a dedicated registration link in your speaker confirmation pack. Haven’t received it? Contact [email protected]
All sponsor agreements include a number of complimentary tickets. Please contact your company's events or marketing coordinator to confirm if there are passes available before registering. If you are not certain who that is, please contact us via email [email protected] with your request.
If all the complimentary tickets have been used, you can purchase additional tickets at 20% discount. Please email [email protected] for details.
Before registering, contact us via email [email protected] and include a clear photo of your student ID to receive your 75% discount code.
Please register here using your membership number. This will automatically apply your membership discount and expedite the verification process. If you cannot remember your membership number, please contact [email protected] or call +44 207 467 7100.
Your membership number is used during the verification process, which all registrations go through for security. This is to ensure that the event is not disrupted by protestors. It is also used to automatically apply your membership discount during registration, if applicable.
Please register here and ensure you add a link to your LinkedIn profile when prompted. This will expedite the verification process. Should you not have an active verification profile, please email a copy of your government issued ID, along with your registration number to [email protected]. Examples of valid photo ID include driving licence, passport, PASS card, student card, etc.

Please email Neil Michie at [email protected] with a copy of your press credentials.
All registrations must go through a verification process, for security. This can take up to seven working days. If, after that time, you have still not received an approval email, please check your Spam folder before contacting [email protected].
- Before the event: Email [email protected] to ask for your QR code.
- At the event: Go to the Help Desk at registration with a copy of your business card.
If you are unable to attend an event or conference you have registered for, a substitute delegate may attend in your place, provided the EI Events team is notified in writing in advance. Only one such transfer can be made per delegate. Please email [email protected] with the details.
In the event of cancellation of attendance by the ticket purchaser, a refund, less 20% administration charge of the total monies due + VAT or 30% for International Energy Week bookings, will be made provided that notice of cancellation is received in writing at least 25 working days before the date of the event, conference or face-to-face or live online training course. No refunds will be paid, or invoices cancelled after this date. All refund requests will be processed, after February 16th 2026.
The EI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the venue, format, content or timing of the conference programme, the virtual location or hosting medium of the conference or conference platform or the identity of any speakers or exhibitors. The EI reserves the right to run the event in online-only format if so dictated by external circumstances. In such case, the sponsorship and delegate fee shall remain payable in full, and the EI shall not be required to refund the Sponsor or delegate for any proportion of the fee or otherwise be held liable for any other costs or expenses incurred by the Sponsor or delegate in connection with the conference.
Where an event is cancelled in its entirety, we will endeavour to reschedule. If it cannot be rescheduled, or the delegate cannot make the new date, the delegate fee will be refunded. However, in the unlikely event of the cancellation occurring for reasons beyond our control, to ensure all costs up to the point of cancellation are met, delegates will receive a refund less 50% of the total monies due or paid.

For table bookings, you will be sent a form in early January asking for the names and dietary requirements of your dinner guests. If you do not have all guest details by then, don’t worry—you’ll get instructions on how to invite guests during International Energy Week.
Please note: if guest details are not submitted by the January deadline, their dietary requirements cannot be accommodated, and their names will not appear on the official table seating plan.
Congratulations! If you would like to be present in person on the night, you will need to book individual seats or a table at the Awards Dinner. Please click here for more details. There are no discounts available for shortlisted candidates.
They are scheduled to start at 19:30 on Thursday 12th February, with pre-dinner drinks starting at 18:30.

If guest details are not confirmed by the deadline, you will be provided with wristbands to distribute on the day. Pre-registered guests will receive a wristband upon arrival after name verification. If a guest arrives without a wristband and their name is not on the pre-registered list:
- The main sponsorship point of contact will be called to verify the guest.
- If they cannot be reached, we will attempt to contact a company representative at the event.
- If verification is not possible, the guest will not be admitted for security reasons.
