Promoting Your Session

If you have any relevant blog posts, press releases, or articles which you are happy to share for republishing on the International Energy Week website and social media channels, please click here to send them to our team.

Interviews are also a great way to promote your session. If this is something you are interested in, please contact Tom at [email protected]. This will consist of a Teams interview with you which will either be written up into an article or recorded and used as sound bites on social media.

We strongly encourage you to promote your session to your own networks and on social media. Most speakers have now received their promotional speaker card - if you haven't, please contact Amna at [email protected].

Press / Chatham House Rules

Members of the press and media will be present in the conference rooms. By default, all sessions are considered On The Record.

If you prefer your session to be Off The Record, you must clearly announce this as you begin your presentation. All media representatives have been instructed to treat sessions as On The Record unless the speaker explicitly states otherwise.

Presentation Requirements

  • PANEL

You will be asked to take part in a preparation call with the moderator and fellow speakers to ensure smooth running on the day. These calls are important, as it allows your session to run smoothly with enough preparation to enable a valuable discussion. Your call will be scheduled for January 2026 – if you have not already received this request, please contact [email protected].

Panel speakers are not required to provide any slides as part of their speaking engagement. If you wish to use slides during the panel, please limit it to no more than three slides and ensure that the organisers and/or your panel moderator is aware.

  • PRESENTATION

The deadline to provide slides/videos is 23rd January 2026. Please send them to [email protected]. For large files, please send them using your preferred file transfer site, or www.wesendit.com, www.wetransfer.com.

If you want to incorporate slides and/or videos into your presentation, please follow the instructions below:

  • There is no standard International Energy Week slide template. You are welcome to use your organisation's branding.
  • Presentation slides should be in PowerPoint (.PPTX) format and 16:9 ratio for optimal viewing.
  • Please ensure that the fonts are not proprietary as we will not be able to reproduce them.
  • Font size should be no smaller than 24pt. Please include graphs and images that are accessible.
  • To ensure your content is clearly visible to the audience, we recommend using generous margins in your slide design to accommodate potential obstructions in front of the screen, particularly at the bottom where you may be sat on stage.
  • The venue’s WiFi does not support streaming videos so please embed and save any videos or external web look up data into your slides. If your presentation includes video file content, please embed it in the presentation slides and also provide it as a separate file.

If you have any specific Audio/Visual requirements, i.e using your own laptop, contact us directly to discuss: [email protected]

  • There is a cloakroom available on the Ground Floor between the hours of 08:00-18:00.

  • If you require a Secure Entrance to access the venue, bypassing the main floor and registration area, please contact Alice at [email protected] directly to discuss your requirements and timings.
